"Haven't looked forward to getting the latest edition since we had Boy Life, Outdoor Life, and Sports Afield come in the mail when I was a kid. Cover to cover and over again, between dad my brothers and me, those rags were well used. Shades of O'Connor, Kerasote, Capstick, and McManus, my son and I love the fe mag and the electronic stuff by email. And there's pictures! Too cool. Thanks!"

"Within days of receiving my first Journal, I read it cover to cover. In the following week, I joined a Sporting Clays league and shot my first competition. Coincidence? Definitely not. As a guy just moving into my 50's but still running, nordic skiing, and paddling, I'm fairly locked into what works in my life. Reading FE reminded me to find new challenges. 2026 starts a few things for me, but a reawakened regard for proper shotguns and a desire to pass along the experiences shared only in the camaraderie of being outdoors learning physical skills will permeate the year. FE complements that goal. Kudos for powerful photographs, artful storytelling, and quality paper."
