Some of us on the FE team have been wearing Randolph Aviators for years. The metal frames are tough, the glass lenses shrug off scratches better than plastic, and they look right whether you’re dressed up or down. From black-tie dinners to African sunsets, they’re built for every setting.

FE spec’d out our ideal look for all things. We went with matte chrome for the frames and selected 55mm glass polarized lenses in Gray and American Tan. We added tortoiseshell bayonets at the ears and finished everything in a Rhodesian Brushstroke box with a matching lens cloth. Take them around the world and send us some photos.

built for extreme durability

Randolph sits in that small circle of American makers who build gear for people whose lives actually depend on it. Since the 1970s their aviators have flown in fighter cockpits and on flight lines all over the world, and every frame is still hand‑assembled in Massachusetts to the same MIL‑SPEC that earned them the U.S. military contract. That’s the kind of history we look for at Field Ethos—hard‑use kit with a real service record.
